Empathy in Accessibility

We have Craig Abbott talking on one of our most favouritest subjects: Accessibility.

Craig is an interaction designer working on digital services in government. In his talk ‘Empathy in Accessibility’, Craig will talk us through building empathy for users with impairments, making sure we are aware of how to design services that don’t disable people.

He’ll be giving us examples of things that have tripped him up in the past as well as suggesting tools we can use to help us test our designs.

Thanks as ever to our sponsors we have Tombola sorting out the pizza Big Bite Creative getting the drinks and Bytemark covering the venue.

We have a new home

From this event we will now be at the awesome Bamburgh House, a 5 minute walk from the Monument, and right round the corner from Campus North where we used to be based.

Tickets are up for grabs here 11:00 on the 28th of June. Make sure you're on the mailing list and you'll get a reminder email on the morning of the 28th.
